                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO
                   REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 4612 HIXSON
                   PIKE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF HIXSON PIKE
                   NORTHEAST OF STRAWBERRY LANE, FROM R-4 SPECIAL
                   ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT
                   TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                Property located at 4612 Hixson Pike, being on the
                southeast line of Hixson Pike northeast of
                Strawberry Lane.
               
                Tract 1 (to be zoned C-2): Part of an unplatted
                tract, being the northwest (or front) 178.85 feet
                of the property described in deed book 3262, page
                745, ROHC. 
               
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   All existing easements are retained.
         
              	  
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
